The Self 

The self is a project where Karolina spent a lot of time reflecting on herself and her feelings. The project focused on expressing her feelings of confusion and being lost in life. She presented those feelings by covering parts of her face and 'melting' them creating this smudged effect of her almost dissolving away. The most successful pieces being the ones with the purple colour palette, creating this feeling of giving up, the purple working really well the colours in the skin and exentuating them in an intruiging way.
